PRSSA Nevada hosts regional conference
PRSSA Nevada is holding a regional conference April 12-14 at the University of Nevada. The theme is “Bringing New Energy to PR,” encompassing the region’s renewable energy opportunities, inspiring new motivation in the various PR fields and energizing students with information for their futures.
On Thursday, April 12, 2012, there will be a networking fair for students to explore the different types of businesses in the Reno-Tahoe area. On Friday, April 13 students will hear from the keynote speaker and tour local PR businesses.
April 14 is scheduled for students to participate in workshops and hear from panels on a variety of subjects including crisis communications, social media and resume building.
There will be an optional Squaw Creek Resort tour Sunday, April 15, where attendees will hear from Jon Killoran with the 2022 Reno Tahoe Winter Games Coalition and see the site of the 1960 games.
